About Sarah Johnson |

Sarah Johnson, M.A. received her master's degree in Exercise Physiology in 1985. She has utilized Pilates to rehabilitate human injuries and overcome chronic pain. In July of 2004, Sarah attended the University of Tennessee Veterinarian College to take the Canine Rehabilitation Courses. She is a certified Canine Body Worker. In addition, she has taken various veterinary technician classes and canine specialty courses in; massage, joint mobilization, and the indirect technique. These are hands on techniques used to release joints, soft tissues and muscles to gain back full range of motion and function. Sarah and Dr. Sams released their Pilates For Pooches DVD, a core strengthening and conditioning program in 2006. Sarah has competed in canine obedience, sheep herding, and agility, which have influenced her unique and creative canine therapeutic exercise protocols. She uses positive reinforcement to teach the dogs the exercises. She has the magic touch that dogs really respond to. Whether you have a pet or a high-level performance dog she will be able to help you reach your goals. Sarah has been developing and implementing the canine rehabilitation program at The Sams Clinic in Mill Valley, CA. since 2005. |
